Author Visit on March 8th

Mrs. Brown is very excited to announce that we will be hosting author KWAME ALEXANDER.

There will be 2 assemblies the morning of March 8 so all students can attend.

Kwame, author of The Crossover, is winner of the 2015 Newberry Award and about a hundred other awards in the last year or so.  He writes poetry and novels in verse about sports and life. He is a dynamic and awesome speaker, incredibly motivating for all kinds of readers and non-readers!

Kwame will kick-off this year's ONE-BOOK-GW initiative. More info to come...but wanted you to get the date on your calendar.
